Working with local partners, we support young people, both in and out of the education sector, through third party workshops and training programmes, work placements and volunteering. We are proud to be founding members of the Thanet Youth Network, which exists to develop projects and opportunities for young people.
Trainees learn from industry professionals and gain hands-on experience of event planning, technical production, venue management and hospitality. With the support of our partners, we enable them to enhance their knowledge and expertise, and to showcase their ideas and skills through our festivals and events, or on our TV and radio platforms.
Whilst our focus is on young people, we are keen to work with our partners to develop programmes that benefit adult groups such as the long or short term unemployed, ensuring none are excluded or left behind. Through these collaborative programmes, we are working to extend the pool of localised technicians, promoters, administration, finance, marketing and PR individuals who can create, manage and deliver sustainable community events, be they live or digital.
