THE SOULARK ENSEMBLE

SoulArk Ensemble weave a soulful, expansive sound rooted in Afrosurreal Jazz, reggae, hymnals, blues, afrobeat, percussive soul, sega, funk, and the spirit realms. Founded as a response to the isolation of the pandemic, their powerful, immersive performances stir the body, heart, and spirit, creating journeys that audiences describe as mesmerising, medicinal, and transportive.

The ensemble — core members are Geoffrey Chambers, James Hynes, Adam Hynes, Peter Nicholls, Kelly Abbott, Alia Hamza, and Elliott Chambers — craft experiences that are more than performances; they are journeys.

The Soulark have performed at The Margate Soul Festival, the ICA and many other events.
