LOCAL & LIVE: BIG STEVE, LUKE J DORMAN, THE CLOUDS.
Local & Live at Olby’s is all about showcasing some of the finest music in Kent, specifically Thanet & South East Kent.
We decided it made perfect sense to tie some Local & Live nights in with our programming for Independent Venue Week, and our first event comes with some returning faces!
Big Steve: is a singer/songwriter based in East Kent, and will be performing a rare full-band set! With lyrics that tell a story, coupled with the use of strong melodies, catchy hooks & a voice that catches everybody off-guard, Big Steve is more than worth a watch!
Luke J Dorman: is a musician from the seaside town of Broadstairs, and has been hailed as one of the finest songwriters in East Kent, with awards to back it up! After playing for us solo last year, Luke returns bringing a soulful, raw, rock energy with his full band!
The Clouds: are a 6piece band from Ramsgate, bringing old-school indie vibes with an original twist! Having started to create a real buzz around their shows, smashing their set here last year, the lads are back performing a stripped-back acoustic set!
