After our sellout 2022 date, Incognito said “We need to come back” and so we are pleased to present once again an exclusive up-close and personal performance of the UK’s most exciting Jazz Funk & Soul stalwarts the incredible, the one and only….. INCOGNITO.

With special guest DJs playing the very best in Soul Funk & Jazz from 7.30 pm – 1 am.

INCOGNITO

An acid jazz project rooted in the Brit-funk scene, Incognito is led by Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick, a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and arranger who has guided an ever-changing lineup since 1979. The group appeared to be a one-and-done deal after Jazz Funk (1981) but returned early the next decade to record and perform at a steady rate, continually refining their feel-good hybrid sound.

The enduring success of Incognito is one of the great stories of UK music during the last four decades. Look at the recent history of soulful UK artists and you will find any number of short-lived acts that have achieved pop success. Narrow it down to those that have created a uniquely British sound and have endured as a global phenomenon on their own terms, and the list becomes short. Dues, then, to Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick and Incognito, formed in 1979 and celebrating almost 44 years of positive vibes and undiluted Jazz-Funk.
